Covenant House is proud to be joining, Giving Tuesday, national day of giving support to charitable organizations. Deck the Halls -- Covenant House's inaugural Giving Tuesday event -- will take place on December 3rd, 2013 from 7PM to 9PM. Participants will come to Covenant House NY, and join us as we sing carols, wrap and donate gifts, and most importantly, deck the halls for homeless youth!
The purpose of the Deck the Halls event is to build and foster a stronger sense of community amongst our current supporters, as well as bring in new supporters to our organization. Concurrently, we hope to raise both the spirit and morale of our youth during a potentially trying time of year for our kids; some of which are either separated from, or lack any type of family. As a token of gratitude for showcasing generosity, we will raffle off several wonderful prizes, and one SUPER prize for several lucky supporters, who are at the shelter to deck the halls.
